Article I
- The name of the association is "Pan Arab Association For Oral &
Maxillo Facial Surgery " P.A.A.O.M.F.S.
Article II Legal Status
- The association was founded on April 23,1997, in Dubai, UAE and registered
in the Arab League.
Article III The main goals of the association
- Gathering of the Arab Oral & Maxillo facial surgeons practicing in the
Arab world (22 registered nations in the Arab League.)
- Organization of the scientific activity of the members aiming at uplifting
the standard of practice, and keeping the members a breast with the most recent
advances in the field.
- Establishment of sound professional and public knowledge of the specialty.
This would result in the gradual development of new generations of highly
qualified, internationally acknowledged surgeons as well as general public
awareness of the specialty.
Article IV Organization
- The association will work as a link as well as a framework for the national
associations along the Arab word.
- The membership:> active All colleague who are specialized in Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgery and holding the local Arab Nationality, living and practicing
in the Arab word as well as outside the Arab world.
- Founder, honorary, association and trainee membership also exists.
- Official language is Arabic, English and French will be used necessary.
Article V Admistration
- The General Assembly: consist of all the active members.
- The excessive committee: is selected by the general assembly every two years
and structured as follows:
- president
- president elect
- past president
- secretary general
- assistant secretary
- treasurer
- head of the scientific committee
Article VI Periodical meetings
- At least one major annual meeting should be hold. Symposia & workshops
could be organized as well alongside the major meeting or independent.
Article VII Amendment of the articles
- The general has the authority to modify the articles by a majority of 2/3
of voting member of the assembly.
Article VIII Termination of membership
- Freezing of the membership: in case of non payment of the annual fee.
- Termination of the membership needs 2/3 majority of the general assembly
after making the necessary investigations.
