In Saudi German Hospital Madinah, Success in removing a huge thyroid tumour

A patient 45 years old lady presented to Dr. Hoda El- Rawy, Consultant of endocrinology with a huge swelling of the neck of 10 years duration with severe dyspnea (difficulty in breathing). After investigations, patient was diagnosed to have a huge tumour of the thyroid gland with hypofunction of the gland. After preoperative assessment, investigations, patient was operated upon by total removal of the tumour by Dr. Mohamed Mohey Eldein, surgery and endocrinology consultant. Patient recovered smoothly, was discharged in a good general condition to be followed up at outpatient department.
