Diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases in Saudi German Hospital Mdinah.

35 years old , Saudi patient has nasal block & difficulty swallowing since more than 4 months and he tried many medications, came to our ENT Consultant- Dr. Ibrahim Abdou _ with his complaint.
Nasal Endoscopy revealed a huge nasopharyngeal swelling ( about 3cm X 5 cm ).
MRI revealed a multiloculated cystic swelling , connected to the posterior nasopharyngeal wall, also, fine needle aspiration cytology revealed inflammatory fluids.
Endoscopic complete excision of the cystic swelling from the nasopharynx with the ( Debrider ) was done, without incisions nor stitches,
3 hours post-operatively, patient received a normal diet and went home the next day early morning.
The final diagnosis post operative and after the results of histopathology was Tornwalt’s cyst which present in only 3 % of individuals.
