A unique surgery has been done in Saudi German Hospital Madinah

For the first time in Madina, a unique surgery has been done in SGH Madina in which the open heart surgery team made coronary artery by pass operation for 45 years old patient. They by pass the anterior coronary with the left descending one.
The operation has been done without general anesthesia or inserting endo-tracheal tube, they made epidural injection in to the spinal cord & through it they can introduce anesthetic drugs at frequent intervals and they made stenotomy then getting out of the mammary artery which has been transplanted in the heart.
During the operation, the patient was completely conscious and was able to speak.
Thanks God the patient get out of the hospital after three days in a good and stable condition.
