The center for open heart surgery in SGH Madinah is continuing the success way

With all gratitude to Allah, The medical team in SGH hospital Al- Madinah is continuing with success in the department of open heart surgery.
The department performed different varieties of heart surgeries including coronary artery bypass grafting, surgery for repair and replacement of heart valves and surgeries for repair of congenital cardiac defects.
The team of open heart surgeries performed an open heart surgery for a 19 years old girl who was having an atrial septal defect.
The girl attended to the hospital and seen by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Sadek “ cardiothoracic surgery consultant, Who recommended the surgery which lasted for 3hours, then transformed to ICU under supervision of Prof. Dr. Ayman El- Naggar “Head of ICU department “ and patient discharged after one week only with all thanks to Allah.
