yrs old Saudi girl from Hayel (North of Saudi Arabia) came to Saudi German Hospital – Riyadh, with a history of RTA car accident, with complete paraplegia.
x - Rays showed fracture L1. Dr. Abdoulrahman Alkrad - Spine and Orthopedic surgeon decided to do posterior fixation by decompression and posterior fixation for the spine fracture.
The patient started to feel sensation after Two days of the operation , then after 6 weeks she started movement in the right lower limb then left lower limb ,
We expect she will start to walk in the next few months.
