INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY

lady developed extensive thrombosis of the inferior vena cava and Left lower limb
venous system, Under lead shield protection of the pelvis- Inferior vena cava
venogram and filter insertion were done urgently SGH Riyadh interventional radiologists
team. This filter is a safe guard against any showering emboli towards the lungs
preventing the occurrence of pulmonary embolism
