For The First Time in Private Sector in Yemen at SGH Sanaa

The major operations in urology, radical surgery of bladder cancer and new bladder implantation. Surgical team headed by Dr.Khaled Al-Kohlany, urology head department consultant, managed to perform a complete urinary bladder removal and creation of a new urinary bladder taken from the small intestine that enables the patient to urinate normally through the urethra. Till now such operations have been done for 4 patients with bladder cancer, 3 of them have been abroad seeking for treatment, where doctors offer them only bypassing the urine into an external opening in the abdominal wall.
