The First Surgical Symposium in Yemen under the auspices of SGH Sana a

The first Surgical symposium was held at the international auditorium in SGH Sanaa on 15.03.2007 in coordination with three Yemeni Universities (Sanaa University, Damar University and Science and Technology university) in addition to the participation of more than 14 surgeons from Al Thawarah Hospital, Republic Hospital, Kuwait and Police Hospital, Sanaa Military Hospital, Yemeni German Hospital, Azal Hospital and other hospitals in Sanaa, Damar and Taiez. 14 scientific studies and lectures were represented during the conference regarding the new in liver, pancreas and jaundice ducts surgery and diseases.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Hadraney, Damar University President, Prof. Dr. Nagi Homish, Surgery Department head of Sanaa University , Prof. Dr. Tarek Ibrahim, Surgery Department head of Science and Technology University, Dr. Moamen Abu Shloaa, Surgery Department Head of SGH Sanaa, Prof Dr. Yasser Abdul Moghney, Faculty of Medicine Vice Dean of Sanaa University. In addition to the participation of many Medicine Faculties deans, as Dr. Mohamed El Himey and Dr. Ahmed El Malahey from Damar University.
