A Successful Operation for Cancer Tumor Removal from Pancreas in SGH Sanaa

A surgical team consists of Dr. Moamen Abu Shloaa, Surgery Department Head, Dr. Diaa Al Anbaki, General Surgery Specialist, Dr. Adnan Al Emad, General Surgery Specialist, and Dr. Gamal Tohamey, Anesthesia Consultant, managed to remove a cancer tumor in pancreas for a female patient aged 55 years. After discovering the existence of cancer tumor in pancreas, and finished required investigations, the surgical team operated the patient where they removed the cancer tumor part in pancreas with a part from stomach and appendix, the operation which consider as one of the major surgical operations of General Surgery. After inpatient in SGH Sanaa, the patient left hospital in good condition. The success was due to the qualified surgical team and advanced facilities and capabilities of SGH Sanaa.
